We had built a new home, so we had new spaces to fill. We traveled to North Carolina to meet with Kathy. We had sent her our blueprints in advance, so when we arrived she had room layouts ready to show us. Kathy helped us pull together spaces that are both beautiful and practical. She has a great eye for selecting fabrics and finishes. It was well worth the trip.

Over the course of more than thirty years my wife Mary Lou and I purchased furniture from several different North Carolina retail outlets. By far, the most significant and numerous purchases were from Boyles in High Point. The singular reason we favored Boyles was the competence, knowledge and customer care we received from our sales representative, Kathy Gordon.

Kathy sincerely cares about her customers. She is an excellent listener, with an amazing command of the broad furniture market and a detailed understanding of the manufacturers Boyles represented. One trait Kathy exhibits that I found invaluable was her superb attention to detail. She was meticulous in the completion of orders, shipping instructions and billing. As we were ordering furniture from several hundred miles away this attribute was of paramount importance. Her follow up and follow through from start to finish was unparalleled.

We used Kathy for all our major furniture purchases for years without hesitation. We were continually extremely satisfied with her responsiveness, her ability to crystallize our thoughts into concrete ideas and her resourcefulness. She is, quite simply, a gem!

In reference to Kathy Gordon's furniture consultation services and products, I applaud them! Kathy has been a true gem in helping us with various rooms and products in our home, from advising us on re-doing the entire nook off our dining room to assisting us with furniture in our daughter's room. She also helped us divide our twin sons' bonus room so that everything is at peace up there now.

Kathy regularly informs us of new products for our home, based on her observations, along with special pricing. She is knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough. After moving around the world and living with company-provided furniture for years, my family and I were finally moving to a location that required us to have our own things. I was so excited to be buying my own furniture at last! I'd always heard about Highpoint, NC - but when I looked on-line the idea of shopping there was completely overwhelming. So many shops! So many vendors! I found several designers who offered tours, but Kathy was the only one who was enthusiastic about working with me long distance. Because of my tight time-line, and International living situation, I had to begin my shopping while I was still outside of the USA. Kathy and I emailed back and forth several times a week for a couple of months. She asked me to send her photos of furniture I liked so that she could get a feel for what would work for my family. Every time I sent her a batch of photos she sent back a few of her own and asked what I thought. By the time I was able to travel to Highpoint she had already worked out a game plan for our shopping trip. We spent two days together going to the vendors that she picked out based on our previous back-and-forth emails. In our short time together I chose furniture for every room in my house. I also bought a gorgeous patio set. There is a flow through my house that I have never achieved before.

My wife and I needed someone to assist us in decorating our home in Florida and fortuitously found Kathy Gordon.  Every morning Kathy picked us up at our hotel and chauffeured  around the area. Through her contacts, Kathy introduced us to both private and public showrooms.  We methodically worked from morning until night, viewing furniture, accessories, fabrics, rugs, and a myriad of accessories.  What could have been a very stressful endeavor, was transformed into a fun experience.  We would highly recommend Kathy Gordon if you are in need of a top notch interior decorator.

We had just moved from another state and our furnishings, while many of them quality pieces, could best be described as a hodge-podge plunked down into our new home and surroundings. We needed to furnish guest rooms and somehow pull together the living room and the upstairs television viewing room. Kathy, to the rescue! She drew up numerous plans, explained the advantages of each, and let us decide. Then, using her extensive contacts, she ushered us around High Point, and helped us choose the right pieces and upholstery. We couldn't be more pleased. And, she did it all within budget! We are so grateful to Kathy and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing assistance in achieving their dream home.
